need help with building elementary school playground for needy kids in La through donations, who do i contact?

I work at a low income elementary school in Clinton,L.a. We have broken equipment and rusty chains hanging from swingset frames. This community and school are one of the poorest in the state. The children rarely go outside due to fleas in the overgrown grass and dangerous playground conditions. I really would love some help, possibly through a foundation or donations. Who would I contact about this matter? This is an emergency, the children have not been out to play all school year.
