Our community created a park using a grant from the Oklahoma Tourism dept. It had some matching funds included, but you can use volunteer time as part of the matching funds. As far as the actual playground equipment that you install, you will need to make sure that it meets code. Also, the surface that the equipment is placed on must meet certain codes. I would suggest talking to your parks and recreation department. Good luck to you....be prepared for a lot of hard work, but it comes with great rewards!
