How can we can get grants to build a playground in our small community?

We live in a small farming community in Illinois. My husband is on our town board. We have quite few children but nothing to do. We are wanting to find a way to buy the equipment. We already have the space to build it. If anyone has info please share if we could just get the money to get started that would be great.

      The playground equipment we couldnt find grants either but when everyone got together and donated little it all came together hope this helps.
