Fundraisers for small daycares?

Posted by admin
dgmommy@sbcglobal.net asked:

My son’s daycare needs to do a fundraiser to purchase some new playground equipment. What are some good ideas for them to do? We thought of the selling candy route but there are only 15 kids, so I don’t think there is much of a profit in that. Thanks!

if there’s a deposit on pop cans in your state, they could collect pop cans from neighbors.
      a bake sale
      a really big yard sale!
sell that candy! just go with your son door to door.
could host a penny war. it’d be weird to have some kid come to my door asking for change, but I’d be willing to give a dollar or something.

I don’t think that just ONE fundraiser will work. I think that you need to be open to the possibility of more than one. but whatever you decide to do, GOOD LUCK!!!
