What are some activities to do with my/our 14 month old son?

He can walk & is starting to talk. He’s a very active kid & loves to climb on stuff. I’ve tried taking him to the park/playground but he won’t play,he’ll stay right with me & cry if I try to put him on the slide or any other part of the playground equipment.

I don’t care if it’s inside or outside activities,I just need ideals.
I also ask for my girlfriend who is about 6 months pregnant.
