It’s a good idea not to leave your kids alone at the playground. Of course this is up to the parent and varies based on things like age, distance and length of stay. Accidents can occur and it would be unfortunate for a child to get injured and be too far away from home to get proper help. Bounce Back Safety Playground Surfaces are made of commercial grade, shock absorbing, resilient, and rubber mats that provide long-term answers to safety. This playground flooring offers excellent performance, durability, appearance and ease of installation. The non-slip surface is easy to clean and maintain, and will be your safety solution for many years to come. Originally designed as outdoor playground surfacing, these safety rubber tiles are now used for all types of applications where falls and injuries may occur including swim parks, skateboard parks, and rock climbing walls. In addition, Bounce Back rubber safety surfaces are ideal for decks, stairways, patios, pool areas, sports courts, walkways and areas needing sound reduction. It is also excellent for indoor applications including areas around stairs and bunk beds, and it is great exercise flooring.

It is of high importance that if you have a playground or are interested in building one in the near future, you need to have some safety flooring tips that will guide you and make the playground safer for the children.

1. The floor of the playground must not be made or fashioned from very hard objects. Playgrounds with concrete, dirt, grass, asphalt or even cement floors have a tendency of doing a lot of harm to any child that falls - let’s say - from a swing and hits his head. On the contrary, using woodchips, rubber mulch as floorboards will help break the fall of the child and therefore reduce the seriousness of any injury that might result.

2. Ensure that the surface area is not just limited to the equipment area. Extend it to beyond the area where the kids would be playing by a minimum of 6ft.

3. Ensure that all concrete slabs anchoring the playground equipment are safely out of sight. This might mean that they have to be well inserted or hidden underneath the playground.

4. Create enough space for the children to be able to run around without necessarily running into each other.

boredshorte asked:

I want shoes that will grip playground equipment well, not the wooden structures, the newer ones that are metal, plastic, and rubber. Does anyone have any ideas what shoe would grip these surfaces well?

What exactly does it mean when I’m told that all of my business expenses are tax deductible?

MelRo asked:

I own a daycare in my home and I’m told that all of my equipment I buy is tax deductible. Does this mean I’m only getting a percentage of the expense back or all of it? For example, I bought new playground equipment for around $1000. Do I get all of this back or only some of it and how do they decide how much?

Name of Playground equipment?

:D asked:

What’s the name of that piece of playground equipment that is a metal or plastic animal on a metal spring bolted to the ground? Does anyone know what I’m talking about? There is a seat on it and handle bars and foot stands too.
Thanks!
